First car. 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe with a flathead. Sept 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa. Had it for about a month. Dad didn't like it and we started looking for another 40
Hutch painting the wheels red on his first car, a 40 Ford coupe..Sept 1959.
2nd car.... 40 Ford coupe. 303" Olds engine. I paid $45 for a 49 Olds sedan. Took the engine out and the junkyard gave me $35 for the sedan......so i had a $10 engine. That's brother Jim's Cushman Eagle scooter.
2nd car. 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe Oct 1959 - Jan 1961.
'33 Ford sedan. 1960. Paid $60 for it. Bought it with no engine and never had it running before I went in the Navy in January 61. Dad sold it for me.
1955 Chevrolet 1964-65. My brother Bob bought it for me in Alexandria VA for $150 when I was in the Navy at Norfolk.
47 Ford. 1965
32 Ford pickup. 1965. Paid $45. Sold for $75. Never did anything with it.
